Romale: The Werehog Tale- Chapter Two

 I slowly awoke to the bright, hot sun streaming down through the trees down onto my face, my back sore from leaning up against a tree. Remembering last night's events, I looked down at my hands, and saw that they were normal.
 "Ro! There you are!", Manic said, coming out from behind a patch of trees, running towards me. "I was so worried about you! How'd you get out here?" he said, pulling me into a tight hug. Before I could answer, though, he kissed me gently.
"Never mind, you can tell me later. I have something to tell you!", he told me, staring into my eyes.
 "Oh,okay. Let's go home, then you can tell me", I said, blushing slightly.

 "Okay, so last night, while I was asleep, there was this loud crashing sound, like something being knocked over, coming from the hallway. So, of course, I went to check to see what it was. What do you think I saw?" Manic told me, sitting in a chair while I sat in a sofa in the living room.
 "What?", I asked, pretending not to know anything.
 "I saw, if I am correct, somebody as a werehog, standing in the middle of the hall, staring at me. It had eyes like yours, and the same hairstyle and outfit, but it was shorter, more muscular, and a darker green...", he said trailing off. He put two and two together (me in the woods and the 'mysterious' werehog) and stared at me. But, before he could say anything, a knock came suddenly from the door, startling us both.
