It's What's Inside That Counts

"Hey, did you hear?"
"About that new girl that's friends with the queer?"
"Yeah. What's his name? He's so ugly."
"I think it was Dudley."

"Did you read the tweets today?"
"Of course. It's that nerd's birthday."
"Let's give her something SPECIAL, shall we?"
"Of course. But it's not gonna be between just you and me."

Why do so many people do this?
Have their hearts truly gone amiss?
What happened when we were friends back then?
In the past when we were only ten?

What is WRONG with people these days?
What's made them change their motives and ways?
No matter how much your outside may surmount,
It's what's inside that counts.

So look inside your heart and see
What you may truly be
Are you really that mean and snide,
Or is there something else hidden inside?

So just listen to your heart
Let's form a team, no longer be apart
No matter how many of them there may be,
Let's all end bullying, you and me.
